Since my guys have been away I have been dining alone...I enjoy cooking for myself and putting on some music and sitting down at the table with a lovely plate of food and a glass of wine.
Saturday evening I got myself some little loin lamb chops which I marinated in olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, some fresh thyme and Rosemary and some Maldon Salt....I grilled them with a tomato and some fresh asparagus, and I also grilled some lemon halves...it was delicious...
I sprinkled a little bit of Greek feta over top of the grilled tomato....heavenly!

Good for you and grilling alone~ I would need my indoor electric panini grill! I fear the BBQ!!
ReplyDeleteThat looks soo good Linda..great presentation too.
I have often wonderef if I would have a glass of wine or 2 on my own..Now I know:)
I have no problem doing it...
ReplyDeletemaybe I should but I do not....
I am the grilling person here...12 months out of the year. Mike shovels a path to the grill through the snow!
Linda, you dinner is making me *DROOL*, it's a favorite of mine.
ReplyDeleteI really admire that you cook a wonderful, proper dinner for yourself while your fellows are in Europe.
Too funny, me too! I'm the "griller" here, my mom wasn't, (but one of my aunties was- I think it rubbed off!)
At home, growing up, my father always manned the grill and he thought it was so odd that I took the grilling reins when I set up my own household.
So sweet that Mike shovels the path so you can continue in winter! We're an all-year-round grill family, too.
I'm jealous of your dinner. xo~m.
